Inspiring Australia – Minimal Effort by Us, Maximum Impact for Them

Home / business / Inspiring Australia – Minimal Effort by Us, Maximum Impact for Them

I spoke at the Inspiring Australia – Inspiring Business Leaders event on Friday afternoon at the invitation of the wonderful Natasha Howie (www.inspireaustralia.org.au) about the challenges faced during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Bid and of the inspirational moments.  Inspiring Australia is a fast growing, not for profit national movement that is set to inside over 5,000 Australians and provide over $500,000 to over 100 local communities causes that make a real difference. The beneficiary of the event (part of a series of events running simultaneously across Australia as part of the Inspiring Australia movement) was www.concern.org to help rescue children from the slave fields of Pakistan, put them into schools and help them create their own income through micro enterprise.  The event raised sufficient funds to enable www.Concern.org to rescue around 10 children from slavery and educate them.  Minimal effort in our world for maximum impact in their world.  The other speakers were inspirational and humbling in their work and ambitions and it was a pleasure to be involved.  Well done Natasha!
